£65.00

Scots Gaelic for: ‘connection’.

A rustic stoneware bowl unearthed in 2022 using small batch glazes and local Kenyan clay. I threw her using a simple modern wheel in Nairobi, Kenya in a wonderful little studio called Tope on the outskirts of the city. A place of refuge from the bustle during a personal journey of learning to befriend and appreciate stillness.

Within its glaze we have different colours, different textures, different flows; yet everything connects. As too do all humans, regardless of our perceived differences…imagine a world where we collectively spot our copious similarities versus anything else, where we realize we are all connected and all driven by the basic desire to be loved, to be safe, to be content.

Approximate measurements: 1.1lb // H:4.5cm // W:18cm

Like all the mysterious fauna and flora we co-inhabit with, my ceramics are unique - what you own will not be replicated. Please do take care!
