Scots Gaelic for: ‘cold’.
Unearthed in 2022 just before I was moving back from Kenya to Scotland. A welcomed member of the spout series, this time as a reflection on what it would be like to go from intense heat to freezing cold (A JOY!).
I worked with small batch glazes and local Kenyan clay and threw her using a simple modern wheel in Nairobi, Kenya in a wonderful little studio called Tope on the outskirts of the city. A place of refuge from the bustle during a personal journey of learning to befriend and appreciate stillness.
Approximate measurements: 0.25lb // H:7cm // W:6cm
