£60.00

Scots Gaelic for: ‘thumb’.

This heavy-set earthenware plate was unearthed in 2017 using small batch glazes and British clay. I used a mould to create an organic effect then glazed at high temperature - you can see the wonderful blistering of the glaze giving a unique texture. Unfortunately this blistering means this particular piece is not food-safe but can be enjoyed on display or as you please!

She was made in Aylesbury Art Centre, England whilst learning about manufacturing and supply chains in a local food factory…a peculiar yet enlivening chapter of existence!

Approximate measurements:

Like all the mysterious fauna and flora we co-inhabit with, my ceramics are unique - what you own will not be replicated. Please do take care!
